Painting Landscape

"I have always loved landscape and the outdoors. The eventual shift to landscape painting was primarily because of the amount of preperation for a figure painting and the caprice of people in posing far outweighed thrusting oneself into the outdoors and exploring through paint many of the same principles. I was able to double the amount of my output, although it was much more an activity of solitude. Then I went to Puerto Rico for Easter and my world exploded into inspiration."
